Our Acceptable Uses, Policies and Service Guidelines
Caliber Enterprises Corporation provides dedicated web hosting to thousands of clients, and we have a responsibility to protect each client and to provide the best services available. The following guidelines were designed to ensure these obligations are met.
Accounts and Backups:
You agree to keep us updated with your current email address so you can be informed of changes and receive billings. You agree and understand that billing is done solely by email and you are responsible for your renewal regardless of any failure of that email to reach you. You agree and understand that ANY account not paid by the due date is subject to deletion. We may choose, at our discretion, to allow you up to five (5) days to reinstate your account if you are willing to pay the $25 reinstatement fee. You agree and understand that we do not provide a backup of your website or email or any online documentation and it is your sole responsibility to have a backup of your website, email and any online documentation. You understand that FREE SUPPORT is not provided by Caliber Enterprises Corporation for websites, design, email or any services. We are a service company and cannot maintain a working business unless we charge for our knowledge, experience and skills. If you call to with questions about “how” to do something, we would like to be compensated for sharing our knowledge with you.
Content:
All services provided by Caliber Enterprises Corporation may be used for lawful purposes only. Transmission, storage or presentation of any information, data or material in violation of any United States Federal, State or City law is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to: copyrighted material, material we judge to be threatening or obscene or material protected by trade secret and other statute. The subscriber agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Caliber Enterprises Corporation from any claims resulting from the use of the service which damages the subscriber or any other party.
All pornographic content and sex-related merchandising is prohibited on all Caliber Enterprises Corporation servers or our host servers. This includes sites that may infer sexual content or links to adult content elsewhere. Caliber Enterprises Corporation and our host servers will be the sole arbiter in determining violations of this provision.
Also prohibited are sites that promote any illegal activity or present content that may be damaging to Caliber Enterprises Corporation servers or any other server on the internet. Links to such materials are also prohibited.
Examples of unacceptable content or links:
Pirated software
Hacker programs or archives
Warez sites
Caliber Enterprises Corporation will be the sole arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of this provision.
Commercial Advertising - Email:
Spamming, or the sending of unsolicited email, from an Caliber Enterprises Corporation server or host's server or using an email address or domain that is maintained on an Caliber Enterprises Corporation machine or host's machine as reference is STRICTLY prohibited. Caliber Enterprises Corporation and our host server will be the sole arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of this provision.
IRC
We currently do not allow IRC or IRC bots to be operated on our servers.
Server Abuse:
Any attempt to undermine or cause harm to a server, or customer, of Caliber Enterprises Corporation is strictly prohibited.
Refusal of Service:
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or suspend service at our sole discretion.
All Sub-Networks, distributive hosting sites and dedicated servers of Caliber Enterprises Corporation must adhere to the above policies.
Failure to follow any term or condition will be grounds for immediate account deactivation and deletion.
